Learning Party History,Inheriting the Red Gene

Dear teachers and fellow students,

I'm Yancy. Let me ask you: Have you ever wondered how a single spark can light up the whole prairie?65 years ago, a 22-year-old soldier named Lei Feng proved that ordinary people's kindness can ignite hope for millions.

In the winter of 1960, Lei Feng met a shivering woman at Shenyang Railway Station. She had lost her ticket home. Without hesitation, he spent his entire monthly allowance of 6 yuan - equivalent to 30 milk teas today - to buy her a new ticket. When the station staff asked his name, he simply pointed to his army badge. This was no isolated act: He secretly mended classmates' socks, taught illiterate farmers to read, and even donated to disaster relief areas he'd never visited.

Maybe you're thinking: "But I'm just a student. What can I do?" Inheriting the Red Gene isn't complicated. When you share your umbrella in the rain, when you stay late to clean the classroom, when you teach your grandma to use smartphones - these are moments we become Lei Feng's spiritual successors.

The screw seems small, but it holds up bridges and spaceships. Lei Feng left us at 22, yet his spirit built a bridge between generations.Let's remember Lei Feng's words: "Be a never-rusting screw ". From today, let our every small good deed make this screw shine brighter!

Thank you.
